The I’On Dialogues

I’On is a celebrated neighborhood in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina founded in 1997 by Geoff, Tom and Vince Graham. In honor of the 25th anniversary of I’On’s approval and groundbreaking, the Grahams hosted the inaugural I’On Dialogues in October 2022. Participants included urban designers who shaped the original vision for I’On, along with internationally-recognized activists, builders and scholars who inspire thinking about a better human ecology.

This year, attendees can expect a combination of dynamic panel discussions, tours of some of the best examples of old and new urbanism in the Lowcountry, and group meals intended to foster connection. The event will include four Q&A panel discussions on topics ranging across architecture, land use and law, with an emphasis on beautiful new developments. We will be spending even more time outside this year, with two walking tours exploring Mount Pleasant, and another two in downtown Charleston.

Regular Registration Rate ($325) open until October 20, 2023.

Cancellation & Refund Policy: Refunds will be offered if cancelled on or before October 7, 2023. Substitutions may be made at without penalty.
